Who We Are

We are a Non-Profit and Non-Governmental Organization initiated in June 2022 to enhance women’s and girls’ access to quality health information and care in Mukono and surrounding districts. Madaraja, a Kiswahili word for bridges, speaks to the Foundation’s mission to create health links and bridges for the most vulnerable women and girls to improve their Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) and overall well-being and enhance their participation in income-generating activities.
